Packing For Lake Tahoe

I'm heading up to Lake Tahoe for a week and I cannot wait! It's been about a year since my last vacation, and I'm extra excited to be going somewhere so unbelievably beautiful and also nice and mellow. We've rented a pet-friendly cabin near South Shore with a hot tub and full kitchen. I foresee a lot of picture-taking, lounging, cooking, hiking and napping. I'm also hoping on a trip to the state line just for kick. I'm going to have to bring my computer and work a bit, but I think it'll be nice to just be in a new environment. I was in Tahoe last winter and it was incredible. But this time it should still be Indian Summer, so there's no snow yet. I've been following the weather and it seems to fluctuate greatly, varying between the 30's at night and 70's during the day. I have a few more days of work to go before leaving, but I can't stop thinking about it! One of my favorite ways to prepare for vacation is packing, so I've made a packing list to help me cover both the warm days and cold nights. I've planned plenty of layers and options for sunbathing, hiking, casual days, and going out. And, I just found some duck boots this morning for the trip and for fall. I can't wait to break them in and get some cute boot socks!
